Great box for $99! This is just about the only chicken my wife and I are eating now. I don’t really trust what is happening to about 95% of our meats in the grocery stores. I’m thankful for a local New York farm that really cares about what goes into their meats or what doesn’t go into them💉. So first off, I noticed the size of the chicken, as well as the butchered parts of wings, drumsticks, etc. was considerably smaller than the ones found in our commercial supermarkets. But then, I reminded myself how those "superchickens" in our supermarkets got that way.....and that way is anything BUT natural. For that reason alone, I now choose to purchase humanely-raised meat, free of growth hormones and antibiotics. I recently purchased a Cuisinart air fryer, and it has done wonders to help drain the fat away from my foods. I tried air-frying some chicken thighs, and they came out moist and tasty. I made some bbq wings next - basting them with my homemade sauce. They may not have been as large as those "jumbo wings" I'm used to eating, but they were literally "finger licking good." Another interesting takeaway for me was the flavor. I recall telling myself, "Ah - so that's what real chicken tastes like!" Just like it was when growing up over a half-century ago. Same thing with your brisket-beef burgers (which deserve a separate review of its own): moist, tasty and so much healthier as a meat option. My only dilemma - as a single senior, your deliveries present a challenge for my tiny, bachelor fridge/freezer. This means I freeze two-thirds of the package, and let one third thaw out in the fridge, to consume first. I thank God for discovering Freedom Farms, and the wonderful work you do to provide safe, healthy, and humane meat products which, in addition to other healthy options I've adopted, have helped me to not only look better (as my friends have remarked), but feel better, both inside and out. You folks definitely have a customer for life! Bless you all.
