BUYING YOUR MEAT OFF THE FARM IS KEY! (SAY NO TO FEED LOTS)

BUYING YOUR MEAT OFF THE FARM IS KEY! (SAY NO TO FEED LOTS)
Hi Everyone!-

Today we are going to talk BEEF.

Over the last few days, we have had some amazing customers come to pick-up their meats...

We have heard some very common questions:

1. Where does most of our beef come from?

Answer: The midwest, Australia, and New Zealand.

The truth is this, even your local butcher is not getting their meat from local farms in most cases.

They are buying their beef from markets and butchering it in the shop..but that beef is still coming from the same place that much of the nations beef comes from: feed lot based growing organizations.

2. What is a feed lot?

Answer:
A feed lot is a finishing facility where large cattle producers bring their 100, 200, 1000+ head of cattle that they raise on their farm or ranch to "put on size" so they can get max price per pound for their animal.

These feed lots stuff the animals with a steady diet of grain and corn, keeping the animals contained in pens so they do not burn off the weight they are putting on.

They are given a a constant food supply and the goal is for them to keep eating to keep growing.

3. What is wrong with that?

Answer:
Much of the food allergies that come from the over-intake from corn and wheat are found in the meats that come from these facilities...

Eczema, psoriasis, and systemic inflammation can come from these corn-raised, wheat raised, hormone injected animals.

4. How do you raise animals at Freedom Farms?

Our animals are 100% raised on grass. They spent their whole life on grass, in the fields, enjoying their natural habitats. They are raised with grasses that contain ZERO fertilizers and are supplemented with free choice mineral. A tub of minerals they can lick to get any nutrients they feel they need.

5. Is your beef cheaper or more expensive than the store?

Overall, we are cheaper because you are getting price cuts for a price slightly higher than ground beef. But, when you buy off the farm, saving a few bucks is great- but the truth is you MUST be focused on the quality.

The quality of off-the-farm beef is what buying direct from your farmer is all about.

We offer only the cleanest meats- high quality.

We want our customers to think about the cleanest meats for their families- not just about mass quantities to save a buck.

Order beef.

I know that may sound bold- but we got into this for the health benefits and keeping our customers healthy (While also providing tasty meats)....

Ok- I hope this basic education helps!
